କଲକାତା : ଆଣବିକ ବୈଜ୍ଞାନିକ ପଦ୍ମଶ୍ରୀ ଡା. ଶେଖର ବସୁଙ୍କର ଗୁରୁବାର କରୋନାରେ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ହୋଇଛି। ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ବେଳକୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ୬୮ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ବସୁ କରୋନାରେ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହୋଇ କଲକାତାର ଏକ ଘରୋଇ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସିତ ହେଉଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କ ବିୟୋଗରେ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ରାମନାଥ କୋବିନ୍ଦ, ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀଙ୍କ ସମେତ ଅନେକ ମାନ୍ୟଗଣ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଶୋକ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
Demise of veteran scientist Padma Shri Dr Sekhar Basu is a huge loss to the nation. A former chairman of Atomic Energy Commission, he was a stalwart of nuclear science research & immensely contributed to nuclear powered submarine INS Arihant. Condolences to his family & friends.
